In 2026 we begin our Tea & Talk Club and have a full diary beginning 30 January. The ticket price includes the talk, refreshments and also full entry to museum -actually cheaper than a normal ticket! An eclectic mix of historical talks all washed down with a lovely cuppa ☕️

This months Tea & Talk Club features our very own Museum Trustee David Nower in what promises to be a fascinating talk on local history of the Dengie Peninsular. A few tickets still available - Two weeks time on Friday 24 April - 10:30am at the museum.

Collections Expert Alex Pitts hosts our unique Handling Living History Events in May, June and July. Trustees have granted rare permission for Alex to open up the display cabinets and choose his favourite artefacts to share with you to handle.First up is #WW1 Contact for tickets.
