Grateful to Monica Claes and Maarten Stremler for inviting me to contribute to the book project “European Varieties of National Constitutional Scholarship”, hosted at the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences🚲

Rising living costs are putting enormous pressure on families in the EU. Low-income households feel the impact the most with 1 in 5 already in poverty. The EU and EU countries have a responsibility to reduce inequality and ensure access to basic needs for a fairer future.

Grateful to Professor Serkan Yolcu (Bilkent University) for joining us his week at Católica Porto. He lectured our Master students in Constitutionalism, Democracy and Human Rights and shared his research on judicial strategy. A truly enriching exchange!

I look forward to supporting the vital mission of FRA, an institution at the heart of our democratic values and human rights.
