Lungworm infection can be confirmed by post-mortem or larvae can be detected in faecal samples. Serum and milk sample antibody ELISAs are also available. Talk to the vet about carrying out these tests and what the results mean for future treatment. #COWSAdvice

Absolutely loving the Combi-clamp for getting jobs done with the little man on board! New batch of ewe lambs vaccinated this morning, all whilst he had a nap in the backpack 🐑😴💪#literallycountingsheep

Grass growth has risen steeply last week, and are expected to stay high this week. Soil temps have warmed to an average of 9.5 °C across GB, meaning soils are now warm enough to support active clover growth as well as grass species. @TheAHDB @HybuCigCymru @qmscotland

Very educational day yesterday with @minibeastmayhem learning about all things dung beetle. Great to hear such a strong message to work with your vet to reduce the impact of your parasite management plan on dung beetles. Small changes can make a big difference! @DungBeetleFarms

The main aim for liver fluke control in spring is to prevent pasture contamination by testing cattle and any sheep using faecal egg counts. Treat if adult parasites are found. #testdontguess

“Clostridial vaccination is essential for our flock.” Listen to why Neil Brown includes this vaccination in his flock health plan year-after-year. If you’d like to improve disease control in your flock, speak to your vet about a vaccination plan. #FlockHealth #Sheep365

The recent good weather has produced high av. grass DM% and good ground conditions for grazing. Cooler weather is forecast for the next two weeks, but grass growth is currently expected to rise @TheAHDB @HybuCigCymru @qmscotland
