New details have been released in the shooting of a U.S. Park Police officer in Southeast DC. 📍 5000 block of Queens Stroll Pl SE Authorities say the officer was conducting an investigation inside a white Tesla when two suspects opened fire on the vehicle, striking the officer. After being shot, the officer drove to Southern Ave & Benning Rd SE, where he was met by emergency crews. 🚁 The officer was then medevaced from a nearby field to a trauma center. Officials now report the officer is in stable condition. The search for the suspects is ongoing.
