You can’t manage a party as small as Labour Party but somewhere in your empty head you feel you know better than someone managing the biggest political party in Africa.

Atikulate Space: Just look at Tinubu, even though he came to 2014 coalition with at least 6 Governors, he didn't insist that he must be the Presidential candidate. Even VP that he ought to be, he didn't say he was bigger than VP slot, he dropped it just to keep that coalition intact. OBIdients Space: Just look at Tinubu, even though he came to 2014 coalition with at least 6 Governors, he didn't insist that he must be the Presidential candidate. He dropped his ambition for the North to produce Presidential candidate that could give the coalition edge to win.... Must Atiku contest, why can't he step down for the South? Me: Wow.......Wow......Wow.....Wow....🤣🤣🤣

Last month Obidients were saying ADC is going to rescue Nigeria. This month they will insist it’s another acronym. Last month they wanted to make Atiku an elder statesman, OG by force by fire. This month they will flog him harder than they have ever flogged anyone. Lol. If you don’t know why they are the headless mob, you will find out this May.

GOODNEWS: The Nigerian Air Force conducted air strikes on April 30 and May 1, 2026, targeting terrorist hideouts and logistics sites in Sambisa and the Tumbuns. The operations destroyed fortified positions, supply points, and neutralized several fighters. The Chief of the Air Staff, Sunday Kelvin Aneke, praised personnel and affirmed that intensified operations will continue until insurgent capabilities are significantly reduced.

STATEMENT OF APPRECIATION TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR, ON THE AWARD OF STRATEGIC CONTRACTS WORTH OVER ₦1 TRILLION AND ₦178 BILLION IN KADUNA STATE On behalf of the Government and people of Kaduna State, I extend our profound appreciation to His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Federal Executive Council for the gracious approval and award of transformative infrastructure contracts that will indelibly reshape the economic and social landscape of our state. Foremost among these is the Kaduna Light Rail Project; an ambitious undertaking spanning a 30-kilometre corridor from Rigachikun to Sabon Tasha, alongside a 20-kilometre line from Millennium City to Rigasa, forming a 50-kilometre metropolitan network with an estimated value of One Trillion Naira. Complementing this is the critical reconstruction of the Mando–Kaduna–Birnin Gwari road, a 122-kilometre artery valued at ₦178 billion. Together, these projects represent not merely investments in infrastructure, but a deliberate re-engineering of mobility, security, and economic vitality across Kaduna State. The Federal Government’s support for the light rail project is both historic and catalytic. It reinforces our vision of an integrated transport ecosystem, anchored by the 24-kilometre Bus Rapid Transit system currently underway. Kaduna has taken a pioneering role in Northern Nigeria by articulating a comprehensive State Transport Policy, one that privileges efficiency, safety, environmental sustainability, and affordability. Through initiatives such as subsidised Compressed Natural Gas buses, modern terminals, and structured transit corridors, we are systematically positioning Kaduna as a premier hub for transportation and logistics. That Kaduna has been selected to lead this transformation; emerging as only the second state in the federation to embark on a light rail system, speaks to the confidence reposed in our vision and our capacity for execution. It is a testament to a leadership philosophy at the centre that recognises potential, rewards preparedness, and advances development without prejudice. Equally significant is the rehabilitation of the Mando–Birnin Gwari road, a project imbued with both symbolic and practical importance. I recall, with clarity and respect, Mr. President’s visit to Birnin Gwari in the lead-up to the 2023 general elections, at a time when the area was beset by insecurity and infrastructural neglect. His promise then was unequivocal. Today, that promise is being fulfilled. This road will not only enhance connectivity but also strengthen security, facilitate agricultural productivity, and restore confidence to communities long burdened by isolation. Kaduna State remains resolute in its commitment to the diligent execution of these projects. We view them not as isolated interventions, but as enduring legacies; foundations upon which a more prosperous, secure, and connected future will be built. We thank Mr. President for his steadfast commitment to Kaduna State and to the equitable development of our nation. Senator Uba Sani, CON Governor of Kaduna State

One Atikulooter said to Remi Tinubu “We deserve more than rice in the north”. Lol 😆, yes that’s why you have more governors than the south, what are they doing? You have more senators than the south, more house of Reps seats than the south, what are they doing? You have more leaders in government since 1960 than the south, what did they do??? If a President from the south can give you Sokoto Badagry Superhighway, NERFUND and added Rice to it, you should be grateful. No Nigerian leader has ever done that!

My father's best friend was a man called Uncle Bayo who disappeared from our lives without explanation. I was 12 the last time I saw him. He came to our flat in Gbagada, argued with my father in the bedroom for an hour, and walked out without saying goodbye to me. My father never spoke his name again. Neither did my mother. Uncle Bayo became a silence with a shape. Twenty-six years passed. I was in Philadelphia for a conference. A networking dinner at a hotel downtown. Across the room, a man about my father's age caught my eye and held it too long. He approached me during dessert and said my surname like it was a question he already knew the answer to. We sat in the hotel lobby until 2am. He told me the story my father never did. They had started a construction company together in the early 90s. It had failed because of a contract dispute with a senator. The senator had paid only half the money and refused the rest. The debt had crushed them. Uncle Bayo had blamed my father for trusting the senator. My father had blamed Uncle Bayo for not reading the fine print. The friendship had shattered. Two men who had been closer than brothers had become strangers over something neither of them could control. Uncle Bayo had moved to America after the falling out. He had built a new life, a new business, a small contracting firm in West Philly. He had married a Ghanaian woman and had two daughters. He had never returned to Nigeria. He had never called my father. He had assumed the silence was mutual. I asked why he approached me now. He said he recognised my face because I looked like my father at 30. He said he had been waiting for decades to see that face again, to explain something that was never about betrayal. He said the argument had been about shame, not money. Both men had felt they failed each other. Neither had known how to say it. I called my father from the hotel room. It was 3am in Lagos. He answered on the second ring, voice thick with sleep and alarm. I told him who I was sitting with. The line went quiet. Then my father did something I had never heard him do. He cried. Not softly. The kind of crying that comes from a place words cannot reach. Uncle Bayo flew to Lagos 3 months later. They met at the same flat in Gbagada. They sat in the same living room where the argument had happened. They didn't re-litigate the past. They just sat together, two old men with white hair and matching hypertension medication, and let the silence heal. My father died last year. Uncle Bayo spoke at the funeral. He said the greatest thief in life is not money or failure. It is the belief that there is always more time. Call them. The debt is not theirs. It is yours.

People will choose those who have before you who don't have. Don't feel bad about that norm of life. You can't change that part of life either. Just put in more work. If you start making it too, treat people with kindness, snub those you can snub, and mind your business. Above all, don't let people interpret your kindness as you being stupid or weak.

Supporting Bola Ahmed Tinubu doesn’t make me evil. Politics isn’t about who shouts the loudest or throws labels; it’s about policies and results. We shouldn’t abandon progress halfway. 2027 is about continuity for Bola Ahmed Tinubu the work has started, and it must continue.
