Ok, I’ll do it here. I’ll try to be as brief as possible: A recruiter working for a recruitment agency works on a placement fee basis. Example: Annual salary offered by employer: 100k Seekr placement fee: 7.5% = 7.5k Recruiter fee: starts at 5% for any Seekr user, could be increased to 10% by referrals. That’s $375-750 referral fee. Now, owning just one Roo increases the placement fee to 25%. That’s $1875 per placement (owning multiple Roos, Joeys and Incubators can increase the fee up to 50% but let’s stick to just one Roo). From what I can see, Seekr is set out to dominate the Web3 hiring industry within several months. There will be plenty of companies hiring … For a typical IT recruitment agency, Web3 is still pretty hard to enter. Also, recruitment agencies usually ask for much higher placement fees than Seekr - typically 15-30% as they operate using the traditional setting (lots of recruiters on basic salary plus placement fee cut). If such a recruitment agency wants to enter the world of Web3, they’ll have a hard time competing with Seekr which is already making placements left and right behind the scenes and will probably soon dominate the space. For such recruitment agency, it’ll make more sense to go via Seekr using its placement fee split mechanism. For 5-10% of the 7% placement fee it’s not worth it. But for 25%? 30%? That’s looking interesting. These recruitment agencies (or sole trader recruiters) will be looking to buy a Roo to up their fee to 25%. If they are making, say, 5 placements a month = 60 placements a year they’ll value the % increase accordingly. It’ll be a highly sensible investment for them. Let’s say they are making only 2 placements a month. That’s 24 placements per year and they are looking to bump their placement fee from 10% to 25%. On these 24 placements, they’ll make 27k more in just one year. Now, if it’s an agency with 10 recruiters … that could be 10x more. It’s also important to note that Seekr is not going to be limited to Web3 jobs only. The goal is to cover other sectors as well. IT, energy, construction, mining … Let me know your thoughts fam please. Now if you’ll excise me I’m going to buy a couple more Roos (for real). ❤️
