What Alford needs to release RIGHT NOW. @SeminoleAlford Recent results, including three more losses and a defeat to an in-state rival, are unacceptable and fall far below Florida State’s standard. After evaluating the current coaching landscape, there is no available candidate who clearly offers a better immediate path forward, which is the only reason Coach Mike Norvell is being retained at this time. This is not an endorsement of current performance. Improvement must be immediate and substantial. If progress does not occur, all options, including a coaching change, will remain on the table.
