I was on a Lufthansa flight from Shanghai to Frankfurt yesterday that flew through Russian air space. And I think it may have been the last LH flight to do so. Literally insane to think about.

@SmithRChris I think how to goal set using data, and have strategies to improve based on data. Often we look at data, “analyse them” then forget about them. No measurable goals. For example at th end of 6 weeks, there will be a shift of improvement of vocabularies bu x%” something like that

Schools collect a ton of #data all the time. What do you think #teachers should know to be able to effectively access it?

A few months of research, planning, orthographic, measuring, painting, cutting, Y9 design students done a fantastic job with their unit on their interpretation of their home in the future. Interesting how students living in apartment long for housing with land! #myp #design

#AISGZ ISTE standards PD had teams dashing to 7 stations. I facilitated #5 Computational Thinking. Before it was over, faculty amassed more than 150 ways students could demonstrate the standard. There were so many ideas, we had to flip the idea wall over and use the back!

As a middle school teacher, and parent of 2 middle schoolers, I’m amazed by some of the old school hills some teachers are willing to die on. It’s 2021 and you still have “Late work is NOT accepted” on your parent letter?
