@loveme876543 Yes, it’s about cheap labour for profit but I think only strict measures will bring positive changes. Nothing else will bring the changes. Only fear of punishment is what they understand.

@Cheaftertruth yes but working conditions have always been a topic u learn it in school even abt how ppl start a acompany & let the work be done in a diff cheap country etc i think ppl are too greedy to actually change these things thats why the ppl who want change need to get to positions

@Cheaftertruth this is exactly why I commend the UK for looking after health and safety. They even give hazard perception and how-to-pick-up-heavy-objects courses to office jobs if you're reading this, count your blessings

@Cheaftertruth Everything in India boils down to a lack of litigious society nobody sues their employer their city state national govt because the cost of going through year long trials is just not worth it. Safety standards are followed in other places because courts are functional.

@Abhi_pareek_dev Before handing out vat number etc, it should be made mandatory for businesses to have trolley jack for lifting or moving stuff.

@Cheaftertruth The sack trolley is a much cheaper fix but human life is worth less because there is no court to state that this condition needs to be fixed

@akssaayy It’s not about work or people, it’s about standard of doing business. If any business requires lifting or moving heavy stuff, they must be required to have a trolley jack.

@Cheaftertruth We dont have enough work for the people here. With so much unemployment, many will take advantage of the labor and cut corners to save money

@GgKarp528 If a whole city can be forced to drive on odd/even days, can be kept inside houses to avoid being beaten with sticks then this could be done as well. Also, there’s no reason to say what’s not being done, all that should be done along with this. It’s not one or another.

@GgKarp528 Child labour went significantly down once government seriously started working on it, and they could be many more measures to bring it even lower. But this situation completely different, a child can’t demand, an adult can once everyone is made aware of what their right are.

@GgKarp528 Having a few regulations for businesses to provide basic gears isn’t a big task. This isn’t related to the size of population at all.
