Our Eco Team enjoyed a visit to the Mayor’s Parlour today. They had some very interesting questions for the Mayor and were fascinated by the history of the Mayors of Oldham.

Year 1 have enjoyed raising money for our class charity, Bernardos, today. We wore silly socks and shared popcorn to watch a film with this afternoon! We've also been busy writing diaries and making sandwiches 🧦🍿🥪📖

We had a great turn out for this year's spring concert! The musical talent in school is exceptional! Once again, a huge thank you to all our families that could attend and to the children for all their hard work. #primarymusic

Year 6 are making good progress with our 100 miles in March for MND. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us for the rest of March so we can finish on time🙏☀️🙏

Following a suggestion from a house captain meeting, we held our first maths bee competition today! This will be a half termly event going forward. Congratulations to all the children who took part, they were all superstars and had the best time showcasing their maths knowledge!

Year 3/4 loved cooking their own soup today in D&T. They created an @AinsleyFoods inspired recipe, learnt how to peel and chop vegetables safely and then tried their soup at the end! #designandtechnology #FoodTech

Today, Year 3/4 completed an experiment to figure out which material creates the best hankerchief! They found that although a cloth was soft and strong it did not absorb well. #science #science experiment #primaryscience

Year 3/4 had a great time creating circuits this week. They tested different objects around the classroom to check if they were an insulator or conductor. #science #primaryscience #electricity

The Art Ambassadors have enjoyed a visit to Gallery Oldham today. They met the Gallery exhibition curator and looked at the exhibitions. They have come back to school with new ideas for our school Gallery.

Year 3/4 have enjoyed visiting Portland Basin over the past few days. They had the opportunity to be immersed in victorian life through a classroom, church, pub, doctors and even a chippy to support their learning in history. #heritageschools #primaryhistory

Our Health Champions, Wellbeing Warriors and Tom from the MHST, have held a sleep stall in the hall today at lunchtime. They have been offering top tips to help children improve their sleeping habits.

We have absolutely celebrated world book day today here in school. Children and staff have had a great time dressing up and really celebrated our love of reading. Thank you to all our families for your support 😀

Year 3/4 are loving world book day! They took part in a football and book quiz, enjoyed a BBC live lesson and loved reading with their friends and families this morning. #WorldBookDay2026
