Fall World Series Recap Orange took down Maroon 5-3 on Tuesday. A double by Neo Drew put Panthers on the board in the bottom of the second. Maroon tied the game up in the top of the fifth thanks to two singles. Maroon tied the game at three on a single by AJ Hardy. In the bottom of the fifth, Orange broke up the tie when Tyler Gilbert grounded out, scoring one run. Then a passed ball followed to extend the lead to 5-3. Isaiah Mitchell earned the win for Orange. The lefty allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking none. Tyson Carter took the loss for maroon. The pitcher went two innings, surrendering two runs (one earned) on two hits, striking out two and walking one. Xavier Campbell started the game for Orange. The hurler gave up six hits and three runs over five innings, striking out six and walking three. Nathan Young began the game for maroon. The pitcher allowed three hits and three runs over four innings, striking out five and walking four. Drew led Orange with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Christian Hill and Drew each collected two hits for Orange. Hardy drove the middle of the lineup, leading Maroon with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Maroon turned one double play in the game. Game two will resume tonight at 6PM. #PawsUp🐾
