John Wood freshman forward Nikola Radovic has been impressive to start the season for the Blazers, displaying a well-rounded offensive skill set and strong basketball IQ. At 6’5”, he provides versatility, stretching the floor with his ability to consistently knock down the three and forcing defenders to respect him on the perimeter. Radovic is a good passer, making smart reads within ball movement situations to find teammates in scoring positions, and he has shown the ability to make plays off the bounce at times. He competes on the glass on both ends, using solid positioning, timing, and effort to rebound effectively despite giving up size. Around the rim, he finishes efficiently with soft touch, utilizing flip shots, body control, and feel to score through traffic. Considering he didn’t log any minutes in the preseason, Nikola has shown tremendous growth throughout the first half of the season. A skilled, competitive player, Radovic plays with a winning mindset and consistently impacts the game beyond the box score. @Nikola245955 @JWCCBlazersMBB @JWCC_Blazers @CoachAut

Semaj Washington, a 6’1” freshman guard from John Wood, showed flashes of his potential at the Midwest Juco Jamboree. He displayed creativity off the bounce, demonstrating the ability to break down defenses and create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. Washington knocked down shots from mid-range and beyond the arc, finished effectively at the rim through contact, and made smart, timely passes that highlighted his court vision and basketball IQ. Defensively, Washington stood out with his on-ball pressure, using positioning, awareness, and anticipation to challenge shots and come up with steals. His defensive instincts allowed him to disrupt opponents and make an impact on that end of the floor. With more consistency in his shot selection, decision-making, and overall play, Washington has the tools to develop into an all-conference guard and a significant contributor in the Mid-West Athletic Conference. @_Semaj_02 @JWCCBlazersMBB @CoachAut @JUCOadvocate @VerbalCommits

Vophcy Prophete scored in a variety of ways while showcasing a slippery handle. Can play both guard spots, athlete and a good looking jumper.
