Carroll took advantage of 5 walks, a HBP, and an RBI single by Shawn Arterburn @ShawnArterburn in the 1st inning to grab a 4-0 lead and held on for the 5-2 victory over Northwest. Junior LHP Jackson Smith @Jackson__Smith1 twirled a gem, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits, and punching out 8 for the W. Camden Dean @cd33lefty got the final 6 outs in relief, with 3 K's of his own. Arterburn (2-for-3) made a sliding play in LF with the bases loaded to double up the runner at 2nd and end a Texan rally. Gavin Strange @GavinStrange1 made a nice running play in CF for the final out. The two teams will meet again on Tuesday night in Justin.

What a team. What a season. Fought until we couldn’t fight anymore. The Dragons finish the season with a 16-1-8 record, and as undefeated District 4-6A Champions, Bi-District Champions, Area Champions, and Regional Semifinalists. We are so proud of these boys.
