- The concept is simple: two alternate Earths are being pulled toward each other.
- If they are not stopped, both Earths will be destroyed.
- There is only one way to stop thisโdestroy one of the Earths yourself.
- This creates a major moral dilemma.
- In the comics, this dilemma was first discovered by the Black Panther writers in Wakanda.
- A glimpse of this concept was shown at the end of Doctor Strange 2, when Strange triggers an incursion.
- Now Avengers: Doomsday is coming in 2026.
- It will bring the same moral dilemma and multiverse collapse that Hickman originally wrote.
