Here we have Diego Reilly-Bell, Freshman at Fordham working with the Core Velocity Belt @CoreVeloBelt to focus on lower half feels. As a pitcher, the first move is the most important and the CVB is a great way to work on setting yourself up to: ✅ Maintain a strong Trunk stack between the pelvis and the torso ✅ Use the slope to achieve a weight shift/drifting ✅ Keep a strong stable base as you begin your linear move The Core Velocity Belt is another tool in our toolbox that we use at RPP to help athletes feel out their lower half’s. As the athlete starts to perform dry reps well, you can start to incorporate Medball Throws, Waterbags, and Plyo/Baseball Throws in the mix. @matt_hartshorn2

🌪 Want to increase arm speed? 🌪 Then focus on the hips, not the arm. When the hips and pelvis are stable it gives your brain the green light that it's safe to move faster. In other words - stiff in the middle equals athletic on the ends! Anchor Your MIDDLE!
