@NickHorob Know a handful of folks that have them and have raving reviews. Figure annual cow cost at $90-100 / HD. Seems steep until you really dive in. Confident in the potential for increased stocking rates, decrease in fence and labor capital, conservation efforts, etc

Urea markets suffered a 1-2 punch this week with the shock India purchase announcement and news that Iranian production was suffering as gas is diverted to residential use. Hopefully markets calm to close 2025. I still believe the S&D points to lower prices, but who knows.

So I’m 95% sure I have undiagnosed ADHD. For me, I think it’s been more good than bad. It fuels my creativity and gives me a ton of energy when I’m excited about something. What I know for certain is that I have entrepreneur ADHD. I never run out of ideas, and I get excited about a lot of things. This can definitely have its downfalls when working on a team. I really had to try hard to not lob “idea bombs” into my Harvest Profit teams. I got a lot better over time, but I threw many bombs over the years! One thing I love about working on Nerd Out and Nerd Out on Business is that they’re separate but interconnected. They feed into each other in a way that will have long term benefits. And there’s a lot of little offshoot projects for both of them that will help satisfy my urge to tinker with new ideas. The note-taking app has also helped me stay on track with to-do lists. And it forces me to document and log all my ideas instead of jumping into them right away. Letting ideas simmer, knowing that they are written down, has been huge for me. Especially now that AI makes it so easy to start new projects instantly. Nerd Out’s note-taking app is something I use every day. It keeps my “entrepreneur ADHD” in check enough to harness it. As for the ADHD itself, I’ve been hesitant to get it diagnosed because I don’t want any meds for it. I’ve talked to people who’ve told me they lose their effectiveness over time and can make them feel more and more “numb”. I also don’t want anything to mess with my sleep. So far, I’ve managed it pretty well on my own.

Honest question. How does one think about breeding a heifer if politician is going to dump excess supply on market if it gets to high?
