2 fantastic victories, not bad for a “dross” side (according to Morecombe fans!!). Interesting that these 2 wins occurred without playing our banned striker or the loaned/banned striker! Clearly added some dynamism to our attack without a traditional front man. #YTFC

Sims was dead on his feet at the end. The man just not stop running and fighting for every ball. One we really need to keep.#YTFC

@Lincs_Glover @CallumHallett6 I've been saying this for weeks. We see our academy players banging them in every week. Yes its bigger games but give them a chance ffs. Keep playing with what we have we are going down. Nothing to lose everything to gain Billy.

@CallumHallett6 Why was Wannell taking a penalty? Surely we had 5 players ahead of him who could score? As for Jarvis just leave him out. Brings nothing. Try out a few of the younger players see what they can do. #ytfc

Raging after that second half + penalty shootout. #YTFC sat back far too early, and let Southport just hit us in the face (fair play to them, they were superb in the 2nd half). Lacked calmness, lacked an outlet + lacked pace in transition. Unsure that we deserved a chance @ Wembley, but my word we had such a great opportunity to get within a game of The Final. Such a brilliant 1st half, destroyed and outplayed in the second. As for the penalties… to miss the target from two of them is unacceptable. Hitting the target should be a minimum from 12 yards IMO.

Wednesday should have been the result for us to kick on. In reality all it did was paper over the cracks. Such a wasted opportunity today. This club really is painful to support sometimes #ytfc
