@APompliano I think it’s simplistic and naive for them to purely blame their banks (which certainly deserve some blame). Some factors their people conveniently ignore are the unreasonably low retirement age and the widespread tax evasion. It was a combination of things.

@KyleSamani @lopp This doesnt make sense. If you already own it at a given price, your yield is determined & fixed, regardless of what the price subsequently does. If the price goes up/yield goes down after you buy, then if you sell you are forced to find a higher yielding replacement.
