In recognition of Computer Science Education Week, I am honored to announce that George from East Flatbush is the first-place winner of NY-09's Congressional App Challenge 2025! George developed and designed Evolution HQ, an educational platform to assist high school biology students in understanding evolutionary biology: tinyurl.com/258twwmh I am incredibly proud of George, and as a long-time advocate for STEM education for the young men and women of our nation, I remain ceaselessly amazed by the imaginative potential of our young people when they are given the tools they need to succeed.
