@Janela_X It’s recovery that addicts need, not a facility to keep their addiction going !

@ollyp3 She’s a twisted harridan Olly, thinks she’s so much better and smarter than us plebs. Defends the indefensible as far as her party goes and spouts non stop tosh !

@_thecopywriter It's nice. The worst bit was the mortgage company repeatedly asking me where I'd got the money from to become their ex-customer!

From putting a deposit down on my first flat to becoming mortgage free took me 36 years. Yes, kids, it was *that* easy.

As long as everyone realises that there is an orchestrated propagandised negative pile on in respect of the pension triple lock, and pensions in general, then these obnoxious posts will be totally ineffective.

They also fail to check facts, before the spout rubbish. When i bought my house the mortgage rate was 15%, everything we had was second hand, no carpets, no washing machine, hand washing nappys in the sink. We got on with it, and did not look for scapegoats. So they can do one.

It’s obvious to me that the recent attacks on pensioners receiving state pension by the younger generations is simply because they’re too thick and lazy to get off their asses and make something of themselves. They expect everything given to them. Scroungy useless bastards.

Every time I look at the Livingston v Hearts game there’s different weather. It’s like someone is changing the settings on a computer game. It’s now snowing FFS! Makes you proud to be Scottish 😂

This is what contempt for voters looks like. @CllrTKerr has gone for the full “who are you going to believe, me or the published quote?” routine. His words: “I fully support reforming the Gender Recognition Act.” His denial: “I never have been.” Pick one.

@boswelltoday No, I'm not and I never have been. I've never once backed self-ID and have consistently spoken out regarding dangerous woke ideology - indeed, it was me and my campaign in Rutherglen that forced Sarwar into a u-turn.

The USAF colonel rescued from Iran will be mightily relieved ... ... that his government will not at any stage in the future be leading the charge to prosecute and persecute him for daring to survive in an operational theatre.

Fair summary of SNP/Gn coalition of chaos 👇
Marcus@Marcus70672192

"Activist government." After 20 years of SNP administration. Let's take stock of what the activism has delivered so far, shall we? Education — collapsed. NHS Scotland — on its knees. Ferries — £300 million, still not reliably in the water. A bottle return scheme — scrapped in national embarrassment. A named persons scheme — thrown out by the Supreme Court. A gender reform bill — blocked. The missing £600,000 — on a driveway in Dunfermline. A drugs death crisis — the worst in Europe, year after year. And now John Swinney's answer is more activism. More government. More intervention from the same people who have demonstrably failed at every single thing they have touched with public money. Scotland doesn't need an activist government. It needs a competent one. It needs skilled people who can run a ferry procurement without spending nine figures on boats that don't work. People who can close an attainment gap they've been promising to close since 2007. People who can manage a health service without record waiting lists despite record spending. And 2028 referendum talk while the country burns? That's not leadership. That's the last trick of a magician who's run out of tricks — point at something shiny in the distance so nobody looks too hard at what's on the table right now. Scotland deserves serious government. What it keeps getting is a grievance with a budget.

@BloodyPolitics One of my crew mates left his holdall (grip) in a telephone box outside the Naval Base in Plymouth. It was dealt with in a controlled explosion, he got his pebbledashed kit back in a thousand pieces !
