@Charles55029374 When he's been healthy, he's hit and gotten on base at a decent clip. But that hasn't been often, and his option status is what's keeping him on the fringes of a big league job, at least for now. Kasevich still needs to play every day.

@DMFox705 I don’t think people doubt the defence. But he swings a soggy pool noodle as a bat. Kasevich has over taken him in terms of internal options

The thing about Leo Jiménez is that he hasn’t been healthy enough to show what he can do. His career high games played was 94 in 2023. This was a guy Blue Jays exec told me was as good a bet to play big league SS as any other IFA they had ever signed when he was all of 16.

One of the stories I’m working on is that of Bill O’Hara, a Toronto lad who played for two seasons (1908-09) with the Giants, and five with the Leafs. He also later managed and was business manager of the club. Also, he was skilled at hurling grenades at the enemy in WWI.
