Idk anything about Evan Gold. But he’s been with Boston 11 years. The Bruins have lost Bergeron, Chara, Krejci, Rask, DeBrusk over the last 7 years and got nothing in return. Marchand was traded last year. It’s been 15 years since their cup win and they’re still competitive

Obviously, his full involvement in that can’t be known. He’s currently running their AHL team and they finished 1st this season. If the Leafs are looking to remain competitive through multiple decades, only really the Bruins and Lightning have been able to do so. So poach away

@DTSB_98 I like that he worked in a few different orgs. (DET, USA Hockey, NYR) in a few different departments (scouting, cap management, etc) He was also an attorney/a player agent for seven years, and seems like a great blend of analytics-driven decision-making with traditional scouting
