Our newest arrival today. I got a photo last night from locals and couldn't sleep. This beautiful elderly lady was distraught after her dog had been targeted. I think we'll get a good result. I called her Maple and will bring the lady up tomorrow to the hospital to see her

The announcement of a ceasefire in the Middle East allowed markets to respond positively – oil prices have tumbled. At the same time, this sends the right signal regarding Russia – there are effectively no grounds left to ease sanctions pressure. Previously, easing sanctions was framed as a necessity to stabilize the global oil market. If the Strait of Hormuz can be unblocked – and this is a global necessity – Russia’s oil revenues should continue to decline. Oil fuels Russia’s war and emboldens it. This is precisely why Russia invested so heavily in supporting the Iranian regime and sought to prolong that war.

Right now Kherson is under massive bombardment. FPV attacks have doubled to 600 EVERY DAY. Glide bombs are constant. Entire neighbourhoods are turning to rubble. Russians are hunting innocent civilians on the streets. Women, children, war crimes in plain sight. They are trying to completely destroy the city. International coverage is almost zero & the situation is catastrophic. In this report, I embed with a drone patrol that are the city’s first line of defence. What I witnessed was brutality on an industrial scale. If Russia isn’t stopped, this will spread and Kherson will be a blueprint for cities across Europe in the future. Europe stopped violence like this before in WW2 and it can do it again. Please watch and share my latest:

Russians just attacked Kherson with a glide bomb. The bomb fell near a bus stop where people were gathered. There are fatalities. European leaders have decided to remain silent.

No one serious from Trump’s team has visited Kyiv, one of the most important cities in global politics right now. But they’re heading to Hungary, a tiny country of 9 million people, to prop up Russian puppet Orbán. Tells you everything.

My fourth Kherson documentary drops tomorrow. In 3 years reporting there, I’ve never seen it this bad. Russia is trying to completely destroy the city. The human safari gets almost no coverage now but it’s vital this story continues to be told

@AriFleischer An observation that as the U.S. celebrates 250 years of independence, your focused criticism of France overlooks the unpalatable truth that you would have likely lost the revolutionary war without their support as an ally. They provided your navy before you had any to speak of.

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

@McFaul The UK sent a military task force to retake the Falklands in response to a surprise invasion by Argentina. It was a meticulously planned campaign with clear objectives to liberate the islanders. Trump is angry that the UK won’t join his poorly planned special military operation.

Bucha endured 33 days of Russian occupation. Terror, torture, 33 days of total evil. More than 600 Ukrainian men and women were killed. Very often, the images from Bucha are compared to the horrific scenes of World War II. But there is a major difference – and today it does not reflect well on current world leaders. Because Nazism was punished for its crimes, not granted partial sanctions relief. No crisis or destabilization in the world can justify this. We must not forget or dismiss everything Ukraine has endured during this time. The catastrophe of every city and village into which Russia has brought its war and death. Bucha, Irpin, Borodyanka. Mariupol, Yahidne, Avdiivka. Olenivka, Vuhledar, Chasiv Yar – and many others. From the first Bucha Summit until today, this list has only grown. This means one thing: we need far more determination, far more pressure on Putin and Russia, and far more real actions and steps that bring the victory of peace and justice closer. I said this while addressing the participants of the 2026 Bucha Summit.

When the whole world learned about Bucha. About Ukrainians butchered in the streets of Bucha by Russian occupiers. About our people tortured in basements. About those shot on the roads. About adults and children whose bodies were found in graves in Bucha. Everyone saw the horror that Russia and its aggression bring. They saw what Ukraine is really defending itself against. Today, on the fourth anniversary of Bucha’s liberation from Russian occupiers, we honored the memory of Ukrainians who were killed and tortured there. We remember and will never forget what the enemy did. Every Russian murderer, executioner, and terrorist must be held accountable for every crime against our people. Blessed be the memory of everyone whose lives were taken by Russia – to all who were killed in Bucha and across Ukraine at the hands of Russian occupiers.

Today in Oleshky, nearly two thousand people — including fifty children — are forced to choose between starving to death or walking dozens of kilometers along mined roads under constant threat of shelling, just to find a piece of bread. Every day in this temporarily Russian-occupied city in Kherson region, two to three people die from malnutrition, heart attacks, and Russian shelling. There was also a recent case where occupiers killed an elderly man who tried to stop them from looting food supplies. This horrifyingly resembles the Holodomor of 1932–1933. People have no food, no medicine, no fuel, and no electricity. In 2026, innocent civilians are being forced to choose between death by hunger and death by bullet. It’s painful to read this. #Oleshky #Ukraine #Holodomor #HungerInUkraine #StandWithUkraine #UkraineWar #RussianAggression #HumanitarianCrisis #ChildrenOfWar #StopRussianTerror #WarCrimes #Famine #NeverAgain #SupportUkraine #Kherson

LT. GEN. WHITNEY: The biggest thing we’ve seen coming out of Ukraine is the rapid pace of innovation and how quickly they turn new concepts into reality. They fly things, test them, then iterate and constantly improve them. Their level of innovation is "out of this world".

Last night, the Russians launched a massive strike on Odesa. There was no military purpose whatsoever – this was pure terror against ordinary civilian life. Over 60 drones were used in the strike on the city. Sadly, there is extensive damage. Among the sites hit were a maternity hospital, ordinary residential buildings, businesses, as well as the port and critical infrastructure. Our services continue to work on the ground wherever needed, providing assistance. Tragically, as of now, one person has been reported killed. My condolences to their family and loved ones. More than ten people have been wounded, including a child. There were also strikes overnight in the Poltava and Dnipro regions. Each such strike proves that Russia has no intention of ending this war. That is why any easing of pressure on it is dangerous. And coordinated efforts to protect people and lives will help us, help our country’s defense and our diplomacy. I thank all our partners who are working with us and supporting our people. We are working with everyone to give our country more strength and more capacity to protect life in Ukraine every day and every night: our cities and villages, our infrastructure. Collective defense and coordinated action can deliver the most effective results.
