@MementoOccidens @Pugman1939 @0Fami Yeah it's the problem when we rely a lot on history or stories from people who'd had conflicts with them, the romans records didn't particularly put them in a good light either and sometimes it's hard to see what's fabricated or fact.

And the part about their last king is because the ruler of Scotland and England, when that play was written, was Banquo's descendant out to tarnish his name.

@Pugman1939 @0Fami The Picts are almost a completely different people to modern day Scott's, the Scottish obviously have genetic lineage from the Picts but not only the the Picts are a mysterious people because they didn't like outsiders and little is known about them,.

@0Fami Greetings from Australia. We were founded too late to have a tradition of metal armour, but we do have one folk hero whose gang made makeshift armour: Ned Kelly. He is a figure roughly equivalent to Robin Hood or Goemon
