Saw the Jennie Lee play at Carnegie Hall tonight (the one in Dunfermline, not New York) and I’m thinking: That’s a brilliant venue for plays. Why aren’t more put on there? One of those proper pros arch spaces out with the Central Belt that merits a lot more.

#ToSaveTheSea @SWtheatre is totally brilliant. A proper musical. A proper great night at the theatre. If ever there was a claim to be made for Scottish productions to have larger casts this is it. Absolute class.

8. We're all human. We all have stuff going on. Be patient with yourself and others. 9. Have a social life. If you drink, know what bev gives you a good night and a nightmare. 10. The audition is over. You're here. You are enough. Best to all! X

5. The first 2 weeks are the honeymoon period. It's brilliant. This passes. 6. The next is the 'hitting my head against a brick wall, I can't do it' period. This also passes. Trust us. 7. Keep in contact with folks from home you love and trust. They will be your strength.

Post this every year so here goes. Drama school first years. You'll be starting very soon. This may not be of any use but here's a few things me and some pals found useful in first year: 1. Shop on a Sunday. Everything's reduced.

Saw Jesus Christ Superstar live for the first time tonight. Aye I know Lloyd Webbers universally panned, isnae Sondheim etc. but it’s one of my favourites. To hear that music. Played live by an amazing band. Jesus Christ. Superstar.

A massive congratulations to all @RCStweets graduates today, especially those @RCS_MT folks. Now go and do this gig better than us xx

What a brilliant, bittersweet musical Sweet Charity @RCS_MT was. Those 3rd years are such beautiful people to work with. I implore everyone to work with them too. Their talent radiates. A real joy.

#InsideNo9 finale was brilliant. Up there with the original Twilight Zone. Amazing telly and stories.

Another year done teaching some amazing @RCStweets undergrads. Continually bowled over by their talent and courage. One day like this a year’d see me right.

Loving that there are so many new scratch/ new writing events happening in and around Glasgow at the moment. Lads, I write too sometimes. Dirty, funny little plays. Just saying…

I have friends my age getting married, starting families, doing great things with their careers. Me? I just completed Spyro 1 and nearly cried.

Just up to date but my that was one of the best #WrestleMania main events I’ve ever seen. Drama, liveness - just beautiful. To @CodyRhodes. To @WWERomanReigns. To @TripleH. To all those amazing folk. To your era.

The Scaff @PlayPiePint is a total joy. Funny and moving story of friendship and angst. Massive congrats to @jordanblackwd and all the team. Brilliant work.
