Got out of the Mario Galaxy movie. Idk why, but that wasn’t a movie. It was just gameplay of both Galaxy games with no commentary, which I could find on YouTube.
I was still engaged. The audience loved it. They clapped after every purple coin mission. 7/10. Would watch again.

IGN reviews 100-150 games per year. 19000+ new games were released last year on Steam alone. You can't pull statistically relevant numbers out of that

@sevenblades the review system that game journalists follow honestly sucks. it needs to be changed and/or standardized, we cant keep giving an above average rating (7/10) to 70% of the games. the median rating should be 5 or 6/10, not fucking 7 or 8

This is why I believe static review aggregation needs to end. I don’t care to engage with grift like this guy one bit. But it is worth pushing the medium of journalism forward to UPDATE how we feel and not let a number sit there and govern future opinions on a game

I love Crimson Desert and have 115 hours in it but you grifters gotta stop being so fucking salty about the review scores... Journalists literally played a way worse and unpatched version (even less than we got day 1) so stop blaming that on "gaming websites". Not their fault.
