The sport I love took such a massive step back this season. And they ended it all by crowning a team that literally admitted to cheating, as champions. Lmao
Wow! So it appears as though Congressman Jim Jordan's attacks on Secretary of State Anthony Blinken's actions with the Biden campaign prior to the Hunter Biden laptop letter being written by 51 former US intel officials were derived from cherrypicked facts, that didn't include the entire story.
It turns out that Jordan and House Republicans set a narrative without showing the public all of the facts. Conservative media then decided to drum up stories based on that narrative, and they didn't wait for all of the facts to come out.
It turns out that Blinken, who had previously had a good working relationship with Michael Morell, never actually asked, insinuated or suggested in any way that a letter should be written. Blinken merely asked Morell his thoughts on whether Russia was involved. Morrel then decided to write the letter. So yes, Jordan is correct in saying that Blinken's comments were the 'impetus' of the public statement, but Jordan then tweeted articles by Fox News claiming that Blinken coordinated the letter, which is nothing more than an outlandish assumption that contradicts the testimony of Morell.
