A REVIEW OF THE 48 LAWS OF POWER: Many of us would love to have an idea summarily of certain books but do not have enough time to study. I will be reviewing many books here, going forward, beginning with the 48 Laws of Power:

To argue with some Nigerians can be an extreme sport. We have a problem with the way we draw parallels. I don't know if it is poor comprehension skills or a lack of knowledge. You can say something like ‘Banana is a healthy fruit’ and the counterargument you will get will be ‘Do you know how many people who have tripped over a banana peel?’ As you are trying to clarify that you are just talking about the health benefits of a banana, they will hit you with ‘Even Yam is better than a Plantain.’ In your confused state, still wondering how you got there, and as you are trying to point out their faulty argument, they will wrap it up for you with an insult. 😩🙆🏼‍♂️😭🤦🏾‍♂️

We are not at war but a Brigadier General was killed. Should we keep relaxing as Tinubu is fixing the country?

Even if Tinubu contests the 2027 election unopposed, he will still lose because he will not get the 25% mandatory votes requirement in all the states outside Southwest. The rejection is that bad.

Defending a government that made you flee your country and become a refugee elsewhere is a different type of mental illness.

I’ve been tweeting every single day tagging Benue State Police, NAPTIP, the Attorney General, Federal Ministry of Justice, and even the Senate pushing for this case to be reopened. Many real advocates have too. We don’t vanish when the trend dies. We’re here grinding while you drop one viral “gotcha” post and call everyone else fake. Let me educate you properly since you seem to have missed the file: Ochanya Ogbanje was raped repeatedly from age 5 to 13 by her uncle (Andrew Ogbuja, a polytechnic lecturer) and his son Victor. They destroyed her body, she developed Vesico-Vaginal Fistula (VVF), constant infections, and died in agony at 13 in 2018. 2022 judgment - Andrew was acquitted by Benue High Court because police and prosecutors bungled it, no DNA test on him, two conflicting autopsy reports (one said “natural causes,” the other linked it to rape), zero proper forensic work. - Victor was never arrested he’s still living large somewhere, posting videos. - Felicia (the aunt who knew and did nothing) got a pathetic 5-month sentence for “negligence.” Seven years later, in 2026, the case is still NOT reopened despite petitions, celebrity noise, and Senate mentions. The system failed a child so badly that rapists walk free on technicalities. This is exactly why the country is the “godforsaken hellhole” you and others love to complain about and why serious people japa. Impunity is baked in but instead of directing this energy at the police, prosecutors, and judges who slept on the job, you’re attacking the only people still applying pressure. So tell us, lawyer: What have you done offline besides this tweet? Or is calling others “fake activists” just your own way of farming impressions? #JusticeForOchanya isn’t a trend. It’s a test of whether Nigeria still has a soul."

Has Ochanya gotten justice yet, or have the fake online activists who only care about farming impression for social media engagement gone into hiding again?

The country is falling apart, yet you refuse to speak out because of party loyalty. How can a bag of cement now sell for ₦13,000 when all the raw materials needed to produce it are right here in Nigeria? The cement companies and the government are simply exploiting us, yet they have the audacity to expect landlords to reduce rent.

The recitation of the old national anthem at the protest ground clearly shows that Nigerians have rejected BAT’s anthem. When the ADC wins the 2027 elections, I hope they will restore our melodious original national anthem so that BAT can take his anthem with him back to Lagos.
