Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools (@wsfcs) and multiple other North Carolina school districts are CANCELING classes on Friday, May 1st, so that 900 teachers can go protest instead of teaching your children. Your taxpayer dollars are being wasted so teachers can be political activists.

Exactly. The same federal government that already has everyone's PII SSNs, tax records, DMV data, and voter data from countless agencies suddenly needs "protection" from seeing it in voter rolls? This isn't privacy. It's a convenient excuse to hide sloppy or fraudulent rolls that won't survive basic scrutiny. If it's really just about PII, they could easily redact or anonymize the sensitive fields while still releasing the core voting data for audits. They don't, because the real issue isn't privacy, it's accountability.

@DavidJBryden @nicksortor They won’t release them because the request is for unredacted files that contain PII data on individuals. This would constitute massive data breaches that state governments are legally required to prevent. I live in a red state but my state has refused for this reason.
