After serving an eight year prison sentence at the age of 17 I reentered society with purpose and passion. I use my music to teach & guide others, partnering with @YASP2, @CareNotControl, & other organizations to combat gun violence within the city.

On January 5, 2022 I will turn 44 years old and this will be first birthday celebrated in the free world in 27 years. Just being present is a present for me so celebrate with me

@jskdn @NewsHour @WmBrangham Now there’s a felony on my record. Young and in need of guidance I have another meeting with the law at age 17. But now I’m seen as a dangerous criminal with a history. Our youth need mentors. They need advocates to help navigate through the criminal justice system.

@NewsHour @WmBrangham "Pennsylvania law requires that people who are accused of serious felony offenses like murder, robbery, and aggravated assault, at least 15 years old, be charged as adults if the case involves the use of a weapon during the crime or if the person has a history of using a weapon."

@jskdn @NewsHour @WmBrangham At the age of 14 I was arrested for a fight with my brother. A family dispute that law enforcement had no place in. I was in juvenile detention for months without access to a phone. The only way I was told I’d get out was by signing a deal that charged me with aggravated assault.
