The gods never want development or good roads. The gods never want security or constant light. The only thing the gods demand is breast and bum. Can you see the gods must be mad in Nigeria?

There are girls in Ozoro right now sitting in silence, hearts racing, listening to every sound outside their doors… afraid. Afraid of stepping out. Afraid of being seen. Afraid of simply existing. Not because of anything they’ve done. Not because they chose danger. But because they were born women. Let that truly sink in. Imagine waking up and realizing that your safety is no longer something you can trust. That the same streets you’ve walked before, the same environment you should feel at home in, has suddenly turned into a place where your body is no longer respected, where your presence alone makes you a target. Imagine being told to stay inside not for comfort, but for survival. Because outside, there are men… men who have decided that today, your pain does not matter. Men who have chosen to silence their conscience, to ignore every ounce of humanity in them, and reduce women to nothing more than something to be taken, violated, and discarded. What kind of darkness lives inside a person to make them capable of that? What kind of world allows this to even be whispered about, let alone happen? Because this is not just violence. This is not just cruelty. This is the complete stripping away of dignity. This is the erasure of safety. This is fear being forced into the lives of innocent people. And the most heartbreaking part is this Behind every report, every video, every warning, there is a real person. A girl whose life will never return to what it once was. A girl who may never walk freely again without looking over her shoulder. A girl who will carry fear in her chest long after the noise dies down. There are mothers somewhere right now, terrified for their daughters. There are friends trying to reach each other, hoping they are safe. There are girls who just want to live, to study, to laugh, to exist without fear… but cannot. And instead of the world standing still in outrage, what do we hear? Stay inside. Be careful. As if the solution is for women to disappear. As if the answer is to shrink women’s lives instead of confronting the evil that threatens them. Why is it always the victims who are told to adjust? Why is it women who must carry the burden of fear, while those who create that fear move freely? This is not culture. There is nothing cultural about terror. There is nothing traditional about stripping people of their humanity. Calling something like this “culture” is an insult to every value that should define a society. Because a society that cannot protect its women has already failed. Deeply. Completely. And it hurts. It truly hurts to even think about this. It sits in your chest like something heavy. It makes you angry, but also helpless. It makes you question everything about the kind of world we are living in. Because no girl should ever have to feel like the world becomes unsafe the moment she steps outside. No one should have to hide to survive. And the fact that this is happening at all… is something that should shake every single one of us to our core. I pray God send comfort to the victims of these barbarism 🙏🏾

Many girls have reportedly been r@p£d and m0l£sted by men in Ozoro during what is being described as a “r@p!ng festival” in the area. According to multiple reports and videos circulating online, today is said to be the day of this festival in the Ozoro community, and girls are wvrned not to go outside. It is alleged that any girl seen outside could be att@ck£d and r@p£d by groups of men. Foreigners who are unaware of this situation have reportedly fallen v!ctim as well. There is Delta state university in Ozoro, and many female students may not be fully aware of the d@nger. It is distvrbing that something like this could be tolerated in society. This is heartbreaking, and urgent action needs to be taken.

If you haven’t clocked it yet, or haven’t watched the video Imagine your daughter or your wife coming back from an errand or class and like 30 men pounce on her, drag her out of the taxi, tear her clothes and start sexually violating her in the name of culture, imagine that and let it sink in How is this happening in 2026??? My God!

my heart goes out to the nigerian women and girls in ozoro who were brutalised, molested and raped by disgusting, predatory men who were fully aware and conscious of what they were doing. this wasn’t a spirit or a religious attack. this was them. may they all die.

If they didn't abolish killing of twins back then, some of you will be defending it today by saying "stop having twins". Some of you are ridiculously stupid.
