I dig this script! Read it years ago. It's classic Cameron, a lot of "cool military tech" utilized by Rambo's partner (Whom I feel was written to be played by John Travolta). First act is a little long, I could see how Sly didn't see the vision (this was pre-Terminator release). This would've been the "T2" to the original First Blood, if it had cameron at the helm. Balls-to-the-wall Cameron!

The gun sound effects had better design. They had “character”. Arnold’s and Richter’s guns sounded unique from the others. Also, they weren’t trying to be ultra realistic tacticool, everyone just shot from the hip or held the gun out in front, barely aiming but somehow looks more graphic and visceral and “larger than life” that way. Big muzzle flashes too.
