The right is not as bad as they teach so the left has to manufacture right wing hate. It is all lies to win elections and gain power for the left. I don't know how democrats can keep voting democrat. Bad things pushed about the right are constantly proven wrong and good things pushed about the left are constantly proven wrong.

@jcswierski @skyomedy @spiderking232 @Latterdaytruth You are wrong. You start with a false premise. God does not control humans. It is the whole reason for being on earth. If God did forcefully control humans to preserve scripture, he would disrupt the free agency given to men. God will not do that.

@jcswierski @skyomedy @spiderking232 @Latterdaytruth "god breathed" means the scripture was pure when originally written. Or even that the concept when received into the authors head was pure. It does not give a guarantee humans wont corrupt the words for their own purposes or make mistakes.

God is more powerful than you think because he can accomplish his goals despite the mistakes of men. He doesnt need an infallible book. Only a man made church would need a so called infallible book to persuade people of their authority. Needing an infallible book is proof that your interpretation of scripture is man-made.

Then you misunderstand the argument that the Bible is fallible. The truth is still there. We believe it. We read it. We profess it. But God knew the Bible would misinterpret simple truths so he preserved another record. And with that Third Testament we understand what the Bible means without the interpretation of the 300 AD church that led to scribes changing the texts to match the church's interpretation.

@DiggTT @skyomedy @spiderking232 @Latterdaytruth Textual variants have been very consistently shown to be matters of grammar/punctuation, without fundamentally changing to meaning of any significant salvific doctrines. So, if you want to claim scripture has been corrupted concerning how man is saved, then my claim still holds.

We know of inconsistencies among manuscripts in the New Testament. Inconsistencies that show people were trying to shape what the feel the New Testament had. Matthew 24:36 (on the timing of the end times): The original likely included “nor the Son” (“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father”). Some later manuscripts omit “nor the Son,” possibly to avoid any implication that Jesus lacked full knowledge. This would also be contrary to the Trinity. Removing nor the Son would give a stronger case for the Father and Son being one being.

The Bible itself references many now-lost books from the Old Testament period. (e.g., the Book of the Wars of the Lord in Numbers 21:14; the Book of Jasher in Joshua 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1:18; the chronicles/acts of Samuel the seer, Nathan the prophet, and Gad the seer in 1 Chronicles 29:29; writings by Ahijah, Iddo, Shemaiah, Jehu, and others in Kings and Chronicles). We know of missing scripture. It has no bearing on God being worthy of worship. It does have full bearing on us not following men that claim the Bible is infallible and complete. For it is an obvious lie meant to deceive followers into being ashamed of anything not in the incomplete Bible.

@716Raptorsfan @capeandcowell Most of these activist judges decisions are overturned and deemed abuse of power. The judges are not following the constitution. The judges need to be impeached.

@Hitchslap1 The need to block others dramatically goes up with the need to get the last word. Most people stop responding when you stop responding to their posts.

The democrat playbook is fine tuned to piss off large populations in the cities so they want to vote democrat to solve their problems. But the Democrats never solve their problems and always blame other people so they continually stay in power with large percentages of constituents that get nothing from the exchange.

@ScarredDisciple @heckyessica In ancient times a book was a scroll. The Bible means a collection of scrolls or books. John cannot be referring to the whole Bible as he didn't use words that meant many books in Revelation 22:18

“For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:18-19 NKJV bible.com/bible/114/rev.…
