@ladycake01 @lovatosbadlands Exactly. This isn't a love triangle. This isn't a slow burn. Ellis chose Jessica. At no point this season did he second guess that decision (even after finding out Max was going to him on the boat). He actually became more committed to Jessica.

@TVFanatic This. All of this. I love #WildCards. It's my catharsis. S3 has not been the show I love. We got a whole new central character (Jessica) before Yates & Simmons got first names. And Ellis all but replaced Max. Nothing that will happen in the finale will justify so many missteps.

@bleuangel88 THANK YOU! Two MAJOR reveals back to back and #WildCards does nothing. They haven't even had a single conversation about either one since. Why even bother with the reveals? But Ellis thinking Max looks great in a dress fixes everything 🙄🤬

This was one of most egregious fumbles of the season that has truly thrown me off. It was such a great setup and then they... didn't do anything with it. I've been genuine confused by this. #wildcards

I remain perplexed what the point was in Max telling Ellis the truth that she was going to join him 🛥but Viv showing up stopped her if #Wildcards was just going to pretend that admission didn't happen.🤔 It should've changed Ellis' behavior in knowing Max planned to go. #Ellimax

I'm seeing cryptic tweets re: #ellimax + ppl being pissed about #Wildcards ep 3x09. 😨 It won't air in the USA until April 6th. Seems 3x10 will be about Viv's debt scheme. S3 has been entertaining EXCEPT when it comes to Ellis & Max's love story. That's been very frustrating! 😡

Max says "Cole Ellis will you go to prom with me?" & gives him a corsage she made & plays their song on her phone.

@kathqnys @bonobochick The writers bungled the after effects of that entire conversation. Not even a little bit of doubt has crept into Ellis about being with Jessica. If anything he's more committed to her now. And he has not asked Max about her mom once?! Why even bother with the reveals at all??

@bonobochick That reveal was more for the viv & varga storylines than ellimax sadly. Not saying he had to break up with jessica, but he was sad for 2 secs then moved on. They didn’t make him show any doubt or internal conflict about his relationship at all which would’ve highlighted ellimax

@mothertfnature @KyleLivings92 Nope. I feel the same. After ep 2 I joked that I wanted Max to pick someone else because she deserved better. I've meant it seriously since ep 6. Having Ellis "love" Jessica (after knowing her for no time at all) cheapens what #Ellimax could/will be. I want Max to move on.

@mothertfnature @KyleLivings92 And Ricky (Max's actual best friend) has hardly been in S3. But Jessica is a main character in multiple episodes?? Want to keep Ellmax apart? OK. Have her hang out with Li (or Yates or Simmons). Show Ellis that him being gone for a month gave Max space to have other friends.

I just don’t like how they have potrayed Max this season like a forlorn love lost puppy who has no friend outside of Ellis. Like seriously a bubble outgoing and friendly lady haven’t made any other friend apart from someone she is romantically interested in. Like it makes no sense at all

@mothertfnature @KyleLivings92 I agree. Season 2 was all about Ellis closing Daniel's case (which he wouldn't have done without Max, George and Ricky!!!). This season should have been about Max (and George and Ricky) figuring out how to navigate her mom being alive!!
