@m0857198072 ohhhh, I see... it was the opposite for me... I just stumble to it by accident... I was hoping for a happy ending... then I got slapped in the face by the kidnapping, the drowning, and that helicopter scene 😭😭😭

@Dre_Bus Most BL movies during that time were tragic and toxic. Those were the fads back then, so I remember having the same expectations when watching them.

@lurker_army yes, exactly 💯 these small or simple wins are more healing than a grand finale scene... the small, simple, and consistent happiness feels more realistic and suitable for them...

After what they've been through, I'm glad they didn't do a grand wedding or other big scene as closure. Lu Feng overcoming his fear and Yi Chen appreciating their moment is the best ending. It heals not only FengChen but also the audience. #DoubleHelix #DoubleHelixEP12

@Dre_Bus I feel you, it's the same for me. I wasn't a fan of how unnecessarily toxic the novel and movie were, but I still gave this series a chance because times have changed. That said, I understand that the heart of this story has always been Lu Feng and Yichen's complicated...

I am rewiring my brain, for the first time, I want the series' ending to become the canon ending I hope to erase the movie and novel ending 😁 Lu Feng and Xiao Chen, after 10 years finally got a happy ending... They were in my heart since 2016, miserable, now they can be happy

@lufengxiaochen I was only able to read up until chapter 20+... the rest requires an account or maybe payment... but so far, it's a censored version... NC scenes became implied rather than described in detail... nothing added so far 😔😔😔

@lufengxiaochen I read a lot of it already... it felt more like censorship... a lot of vulgar words and phrases, and NC scenes are removed or toned down...
