Xfactor Gaming - Battlefield 6 & Arc Raiders
Holy shit, just realized something that happens in DICE games like Battlefield 6 that gets you killed potentially led to Vince Zampella's death... Light blindness when you are in a building or dark area and look out is a thing in several DICE games as shown below. This is footage of the same tunnel and corner Vince came out of at high speed before losing control and hitting the barrier. You literally can't see shit until its too late. That is a hard 90 degree to the left turn the second you come out of the tunnel. The vehicle that this footage was recorded from went OFF the damn mountain as they clearly didn't know the sharp curve was coming or couldn't see it. Insane. For the record this post is about education and that indeed this affect is a thing IRL. DO NOT RACE or drive recklessly on public roads as this is a perfect example of what can cause things to go haywire outside of debris, wet conditions, lack of skill, knowledge, etc.

Battlefield 6 Conquest is in such a rough state… Bots in every server. Laser designation bug still going strong. No jet loadouts No radar Glass cannon vehicle design There is a critical ratio between satisfaction and frustration and right now, it’s working against conquest.

@EBKnispel @D4veTheNinja You put it better than i did. I've been trying to learn to play a guitar and yes i still need to warm up. Maybe not extensively but just to get a feel for finger positions etc. It's same in games. I need to get a feel for my flicks and aim in general. And mentally focused

@BalanceBF @D4veTheNinja Actually, it's pretty similar to how you would Warm up for playing an Instrument, or a skill in a spot, like practics Serving tennis, or line outs and plays in rugby, All to prime ther neurological system for a task. TLDR - take something seriously enough, normal to warm up. ✌️

Introducing: Casual Breakthrough We understand that sometimes you want to jump into Battlefield but without the intensity of a full PvP lobby. To create a more relaxed way to play while still earning progression and completing challenges, we’re introducing Casual Breakthrough and this new mode is now live in the main menu under the Multiplayer tab. @SilkOCE @EA_DICE This is the kinda vehicle design that shows they didn't think about anything when putting this together. Look what they done to my baby, from "I'm pushing Mid", to sitting at the back of the map cause it's a glass AWP. All for trick shots but TOW on tank primary is a no.

@HiebDE @T0TALfps Can confirm even with agility pack it's still bad, also laughed hard when to boost the aim you needed a upgrade for it (which honestly didn't notices the difference it made much). Feels like it was rush together how it was modelled.

It might be because I haven't unlocked the agility package - but besides the overall agility, there are several parts about the tanks I dislike. Turret speed is too low. Once again, low turret speed encourages players NOT to push onto objectives with tanks but stay behind and snipe. On Cairo, I feel like the map is designed specifically to kill tanks and make their life as difficult as possible, with only 2 roads the tank even fits onto, and loads of places to hide mines. Speaking of mines, the lack of thermal vision or lights on them (i dont like the lights but it would help) makes it impossible to see them. You die to them constantly, partially because every engineer for the next 50 hours will be spawning with one as an unswappable gadget. I don't want to have to rely on someone being in the gunner seat in order to play in the first place, because only the gunner's proximity upgrade makes me able to see them in the first place. It also makes no sense that my gunner gets this upgrade and then gains a button that just DELETES all mines within my radius outright. If somone sneaks up to me and puts mines behind me and my gunner presses 3 to delete them, he will be confused AF. The turret positioning on top of the leo tank is too far in the back. going over bumps especially, the gunner cant shoot forwards and rotation of the tank turret messes with my aim since im not in the center of the rotating turret body. As the F2 Gunner its also insane that my turret angle frequently prevents me from shooting enemies that are close. The default rocket launcher, the MBT Law, is predictably overpowered (and annoying!) against ground vehicles, for some reason dealing MORE damage than the RPG while being EASIER to use with less exposure/aim time required by the user - makes no sense. I can't see most of my enemies, my secondary gun has too much spread, I can't reliably kill ANYONE, They need 3-4 rockets to kill me. If I were to play against myself in a 1v1, I would consistently lose as a tank vs infantry OUTRIGHT without probably dealing more than 50 damage. That can't be right. I also HATE the fact that since BFV we are insisting on a system to decouple the turret from its 3rd person camera, bringing with it a slew of problems. We are using a crosshair projection method that tries to align the tank with its 3rd person crosshair - throwing aim off CONSISTENTLY when objects are close to the camera, making switching perspectives buggy as hell, and all this just because of the initially bad design decision to make the tank turret slow as hell, as if that was an issue in any battlefield ever (it wasnt). Play 1 round of tanks in BF3/BF4 and then come back to 6. It's a night and day difference in how it feels to play. Sorry that this reads like a lot of negativity, I'm enjoying the game, but the tanks are so bad that as a vehicle main I find myself ABANDONING them mid match because they are so unfun. TLDR: Get rid of 3rd person not being stuck to turret. Fixes all problems of tanking within cover. Make turret faster. Make tank more agile. Make mines visible without gunner. Make secondary gun stronger / more accurate. Give me a reason to push.

Battlefield 6 thoughts: Infantry is good. Movement is WAY overnerfed. Reticle just needs to be glued to screen center goddamnit. Tanks are AWFUL. IFV is ok. Heli + Jets are kinda cool, but the Heli vs Tank / Jet vs Heli / Heli vs Heli / Jet vs Jet TTK is too fast. LAV MR rocket made me ragequit stream today. No lockon, goes through flares, onehits everything. Legit autowin. Needs to be fixed. Game is fun. Go play it.
