Due to the expected inclement weather, Early Childhood Academy will open on a 2 hour delay with no Before Care on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Students are expected to arrive to school at 10:05am.

Learning made fun at @ECAPCSDC! Students in Ms. Robinson's kindergarten class built 2 and 3-dimensional shapes using toothpicks, gummies, and slime. Students were then asked to compare and contrast the characteristics of the 3D figures and the 2D figures. #STEM #DCcharters

This morning I joined @mjwalkerdavis on a tour of @ECAPCSDC, where I saw DC's youngest learners joyfully engaging with teachers in literacy, math and social-emotional learning. A puppet even popped in! Thank you to the entire @ECAPCSDC leadership team for having me!

Last June @ecapcsdc hosted its first socially distanced third grade promotion ceremony.

.@ECAPCSDC is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. ECA has demonstrated that it is effectively and consistently providing high quality programs and educational experiences to all students.

.@ECAPCSDC will continue to follow OSSE, DC Health and CDC guidelines regarding the health and safety of our school.

.@ECAPCSDC will open in-person 5-days a week for the 21-22 school year. School begins Monday, August 30, 2021. #Back2School #DCHOPE

.@ECAPCSDC partnered with non-profit organization Stem4theStreets to provide students with hands-on science labs.

.@ECAPCSDC hosted the Curative Mobile unit which provided no cost COVID testing for all interested adults and children in the community.

Moms Who Lead with Love and Marli Boxes partnered to provide all @ecapcsdc prekindergarten and kindergarten students with a book and a sensory box for home. Each box contained homemade playdoh, multicultural wooden pegs, and multicultural Crayola crayons.
