Remembrance Day 2025 in Early Years❤️🖤

Reception were amazing in their first ever school trip to our local park! We hunted for autumn treasures and even had time for a play in the park to celebrate their amazing progress over their first half term!🍁🍂

“What’s inside a conker?” That’s what one of our learners asked this week and we had such a fun afternoon predicting, trialling, sawing, hammering and talking about it today! @PrimaryMay

We had a visit from the Wild Things! Our new Literacy text ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ has allowed us to start exploring mark making, early writing and dramatic play in provision which the children have loved! 🐗📝 @theliteracytree

Birthday Week! We had the best time exploring the topic and celebrating together! We made and ordered birthday cards, made some cakes (real ones and playdough ones), learnt the months of the year and made decorations to put up around the classroom🎂🎈🥳

It’s birthday week in Early Years! We’re prepping for our big party tomorrow by baking a cake for the big day! 🎉🎈🎂

Lots of discussions about our families & the people who love us today in reception, including some amazing drawings made in their independent play! 🏡🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒❤️

Year 5 demonstrated their creativity during their art lesson. Inspired by the theme “I need space!” 🚀🌌 they explored drawing and expression with remarkable focus and imagination, while also developing skills in sketching and shading.

Every Friday, we hold our whole-school Achievement Assembly to celebrate success across all year groups. We recognise children for Gold Certificates, Star Writer, TTRS winners, Class Dojo winners, and the highest scoring pupil across the school. Well done to our fantastic pupils!

Reception have been loving their numberblocks sessions every day. Last week we started strong by getting practical and creative with our learning!

A mindful lunchtime that all children are welcome to attend . Our Lunchtime Clubs run every day from 12:30 - 1pm. Today’s session was filled with colouring and calming meditation. The perfect way to pause, reset, and recharge for the afternoon.
