Today EPS held our first “Voices in Action Day” in celebration of Dr. King’s legacy. Students heard from keynote speaker Rosetta Lee, engaged in workshops and activities. It takes a day out of the norm to begin to create the change we want to see in the world. #EastsidePrep

Over the long weekend, EPS hosted a boys 8th grade basketball team from Ventura Missionary School in California! After the game, our EPS parents treated everyone to a pizza dinner so the players could get to know one another. It was an awesome event! #EastsidePrep

Last weekend, the EPS Environmental Club partnered with King Conservation Corps for Orca Recovery Day at Cochran Springs Creek. EPS students, parents, and faculty removed invasive blackberries near the creek, improving water quality to support salmon and feed the orcas.

The school year is in full swing, which means education is happening both inside and outside of the classroom! This week a delegation from Klara Teoretiska Gymnasium School in Sweden visited EPS where they visited classes and exchanged ideas with educators.
