@Ed209nn @Inevry109 @JamesMac_Fit I never said he was like Hitler. This is an example of what happens when people make choices on potential leaders based on them ‘saying the right things’. How about looking at their past lives? Eg taking public Covid subs while paying £m dividends to directors.

As a fellow STEM PhD, this is elitist bullshit. We aren't some anointed superior class that deserves to dictate how the world should work to the unwashed masses. Scientists are human and prone to the same errors and biases as other humans. Scientific institutions are similarly prone to the same problems that other human institutions face. It's dumb to blindly trust them when they can and do make major mistakes.

All joking aside…It’s insane how people trust idiots over scientists. I can’t be the only one who feels this?
