What a week! A day at the Fitzwilliam Museum talking about plant humanities followed by a day at the Royal Society to celebrate the launch of this fantastic resource. Huge congratulations to everyone who made it happen!

Cannot say enough good things about La Chimera - I saw it in a London Curzon on a lazy Saturday afternoon and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. Dreamy and charming but never over sentimental. A gem of a film.

This weekend I saw two plays. One of them was terrible in so many ways I wouldn’t know where to start. Fortunately the other was @RedPitchPlay at @sohoplacelondon and I really can’t recommend it highly enough. Everyone involved is hugely talented.
