@SurgeonofDepth To be fair, I don’t think he was in G5 nearly as long against the snake and Gaban, as he was when fighting Lucci or fighting the number of giants in Elbaph.

It seems to me that whenever luffy goes giant in gear 5, it is exactly doing that giant form that is draining his stamina. He went gear 5 against a snake earlier in the arc and was fine and same when he fought Gaban.
