@CasusBelliActa I've been growing more and more convinced of this over the years, but absolutely this war is the final straw.
It's called looking at the evidence.

@EricRSammons The feelings expressed are manifested when a republican president is doing things you're not happy with or you disagree with. If Trump hadn't started Iran war, or incursions into other sovereign nations, you wouldn't put forth this opposition.

Today on the podcast I'm going to embrace my more cynical, conspiratorial side and argue that our Republic is dead and so who we vote for doesn't really matter. (But there's still reason for Christian hope!)
Join me live at 4pm ET (note different time).

@msirilla1 That's great! And a huge improvement on your previous times, IIRC.
I'm running a 5k this coming Saturday, so now I know the time to beat. :)

We ran a 5k today in Toronto, Ohio. I was aiming to get 30 min, but my time was 28:21 instead! Not quite as good as @EricRSammons, but I’m training to match or beat his time!

The possibility of blowback is all-too-common yet all-too-ignored when it comes to military actions.

Is the Mass for catechesis, or evangelization, or community building? Or is its purpose something far, far more important?
On today's podcast, I'll break down the reason for the most important activity in the world: the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

I've published the talk I gave at the Blessed Karl Symposium last week - a talk of extreme relevance for our times.
"He was in so many ways unlike these other so-called “great” men. Most importantly, unlike them, he was a saint."

I've heard a number of well-intentioned people say we can't judge the morality of this war since there might be secret intel that led to the decision.
First, there's abundant reasons to distrust government claims of "secret intel." More importantly, I'd argue that the idea a democratic republic can go to war based on secrets is contrary to our founding principles.

Join me in 15 minutes as I break down the underlying religious aspects of the war with Iran.
When Jews, Christians, and Muslims fight, there's sure to be plenty of religious implications!
