With the way Kobe Bryant was defended his entire career considered the pace and no spacing, and factoring the shot difficulty in his career I’m really surprised he shot 45% FG for his career. That’s actually extremely high and a better shooting percentage from any of his high volume perimeter shooting peers such as Vince Carter, McGrady, Iverson, Gilbert Arenas, Ginobili, Ray Allen, Richard Hamilton, Reggie Miller, Paul Pierce and many many others. Kobe shoots a higher percentage than all the people I just named. As far as his position he was the 2nd most efficient high volume shooting guard only behind Dwayne Wade who was mostly a slashing at the rim guard. Only WADE HAS A HIGHER PERCENTAGE FROM ALL THE HIGH VOLUME SHOOTING GUARDS than Kobe Bryant. He is, infact, efficient in regards to his era. This is obvious. You guys are just lame for trying to use his supposed “lack of efficiency” against him when infact he was very efficient.
