Have you been wondering which thermal scanner you should use to monitor your small endotherms at night? Well look no further, our new paper outlines your thermal scanner options and their capabilities: dx.doi.org/10.1002/ece3.1… Thanks @rohanclarke01 and team for the support!

Unfortunately our plans to use these drones along side traditional methods of tracking bilbies by the Martu and Birriliburu Rangers had to be called off due to the weather. Before leaving today we visited the Wiluna Remote Community School for a mini drone/bilby talk.

One happy Coconut Crab with its noodles. This guy is probably ~80 years old, and has definitely mastered the 'chopstick' function of its claws #ChristmasIsland #phdlife

Following a good autumn break of rain, we have found multiple clutches of Plains-wanderer chicks over recent months on Victoria's Northern Plains. Hoping most of these youngsters avoid the many dangers out there and make it to adulthood 📷Leigh Pieterse

Null results are important too - check out @MeenaExplorer 's first publication! We found few changes in native Australian alpine plant morphology, despite substantial local climate change. In short, these vulnerable plants don't seem to be adapting 🙁. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ec…
