writing fics is one the purest forms of love and appreciation for media out there. it is given to you for FREE out of the author's good will. the fact that you think it's appropriate to publicly bad mouth the writing, certain authors, or leave public ratings is appalling

there's not much we can do about people leaving bad comments on fanfics and having no fandom etiquette but what we CAN do is make sure we send a ton of love to the authors we love. post about it here (WITH THE LINK), comment often, leave kudos. it's not rocket science
