Are the medical records fraudulent? According to #TMZ, It has been discovered that the District Attorney relied on incomplete and inconsistent medical records at Tory Lanez Trial. During #ToryLanez’s criminal trial, the jury was shown only two pages of hospital records to support claims of injury and timing. The defense was given approximately 100 pages, with no disclosure that a far larger medical file existed. Years later, a full production from Cedars-Sinai revealed more than 300 additional pages from the same hospital visit, maintained under an alias but tied to the same patient and incident. When compared side by side, the records do not match. Page counts differ, formats are inconsistent, and entire sections of care are missing from the version relied upon at trial. A medical software expert reviewed both productions and issued a signed report identifying serious irregularities, including altered or overwritten text, missing and repeated pages, date and time contradictions, inconsistent formatting, illegible or cropped scans, handwritten additions, nonfunctional QR codes, questionable signatures, gaps in care continuity, and duplicate documentation. The report states that roughly 300 pages were withheld from the defense. Among the missing records is a document titled “EVIDENCE,” stating that foreign bodies were recovered, bagged, and released to hospital security, specifically naming a guard, Derek Cervantes. This directly contradicts later testimony from detectives, who told the court nothing was recovered from the hospital. The records used at trial were provided to the defense by the prosecution, including Kathy Ta and Alex Bott. The physician listed as the operative doctor, Dr. Little, never testified and cannot be located. These discrepancies were uncovered only after the trial, raising serious questions about the completeness and reliability of the medical evidence relied upon by the District Attorney.
