My strongest opinion about Nigerian politicians is that they all have doctrines/organising principles about how the world should work. And they rarely change their minds about them. Nothing reinforces this belief for me more than historical evidence. It is extremely important that we understand them.

History is inexhaustible; no matter how much we study, countless stories, lessons, and voices remain waiting to be discovered.

As an operating principle, I don't feel like I've truly begun to scratch the surface of a discipline until: 1. I've learned the fundamentals/ideals 2. Studied its history and 3. Plugged in to its status quo.

It's hard to think like this when you're in survival mode, but no matter what stage a company/entity is at, it needs to have two dedicated functions: - R&D to stay ahead of the curve; - A compelling lore to keep everyone, inside and outside the entity believing in the mission.
