This is the issue. People who have e books/use will always defend them until they are blue in the face. Since reading comprehension is hard, I never said it was for me. I said the average player. I speak for the masses of people, not just the 1% who watch YouTube/ Twitch etc.

Being the best or one of the best at the game goes wayyyy beyond any ebook. The best of the best process, press buttons, and move the joystick different than most. Ebooks aren’t ruining the game, they’re actually keeping the casuals playing the game longer. Trust me, most of the people utilizing ebooks would put the controller down a lot sooner if they didn’t have ebooks at their disposal. Also, everyone subscribes to some form of an ebook..regardless of paying for it or not. Watching streams, YouTube, TikTok, or whatever platform is going to provide you with “meta, cheese, glitches, sauce, tips” whatever you wanna call it. The casual player has so much at his disposal in today’s world of gaming. The better player will still likely win when it matters most. Ebooks are just here to give you a basis on how to make the game easier to beat the casual player. In turn, this keeps more people engaged for longer. A bad player will be a bad player regardless of any ebook. Although that bad player will play the game longer if he has one. And that’s a GOOD thing. More players playing longer = GOOD.
