One reason software engineering will always be in demand is this: a lot of people claim they can code, but not everyone is skilled. The gap between building, reliable systems is still wide. I’ve had skill issues too, so I know skill issues are real in this field.

What exactly is happening in Nigeria! In the last 7 days, I woke up to multiple financial request EVERY SINGLE day, more suprisingly, even from those I know used to live very comfortably few years ago. One is a recent ex Nigeria Eagles player asking for 50K, another is a DSP in the Police (3 stars), another is a pastor of a big church asked for help with his rent (2 million). One was recently an aide in the Office of the Deputy Govenor, Kano State asking for 65K, the other one was my coursemate in University, that even used to support me back then cos she was well to do (working since way back). Just a few examples. Half of the request came from people who wouldn’t ask for help on a good day. Must have been really rough for them to do so 🥹 What’s going on!

For what it’s worth. I am forever Grateful to be able to go through the process of confusion, pain and enjoy the process.

I no Dey ever hear, because of 500k this client wan use iteration wound me. I’ll just refund and rest. Nigerian clients has got to be the worst people to work with. Tbh 😅😅
